OSWALD

We all know Oswald was a very calm, polite creature no matter what. Yeah! I agree that his calm and polite behaviour sometimes made us feel annoyed that he never gets angry due to which he is facing trouble And also kabhi kabhi woh cartoon dekh ke neend bhi aa jati as it seems boring. What I personally like about his character is he starts singing the song rather than getting frustrated; when he is confused or sad which makes him feel lighter and helps him to get out of it more easily. Don’t you think we should also start applying the same?

Now let me introduce to the characters of OSWALD series and also things we can learn from those characters

  • OSWALD - THE OCTOPUS: Bada dil rakho (don’t take literal meaning). This means to adopt the nature of sharing your things (Makes me remind of an advertisement which said "Mummy ne nahi sikhaya - SHARING"). There is an episode of Oswald named ‘Tomato Garden’ in which every time when Oswald grows a tomato plant and snails came and ate those ‘Lal rasile pake huve’ tamatar and everytime he shares those tomatoes with snails happily with equal share. Isn’t it wonderful?

    1. HENRY - THE PENGUIN: From the episode “Henry needs a haircut” we learn how he overcomes his fear by getting convinced to cut his hairs and agrees that nothing happens after you overcome fear. Likewise, try to overcome your fear in real life too.

    1. DAISY - THE SUNFLOWER: The episode “Daisy and the duckling” teaches us that as Daisy helps the duckling to find her mother; likewise, we humans should also make efforts to help animals. We all know how brutally animal abusing is done all over the world. Please keep in mind animals also have emotions. Just because they can’t speak or express their emotions by words you can't just go and harm them mercilessly. HELP AND RESPECT ANIMALS.

    1. WINNIE - THE DOG: In the episode ‘Winnie needs a bath’, Winnie didn’t want to take bath but Oswald makes him bath forcefully because “STAY CLEAN STAY HEALTHY” else you will be affected by CORONA.
