Online Exams
![]() |
Well, somewhere I love to give online exams too as I didn't have to go away from my home, didn't have to eat that hostel food, didn't have to wake up by snoozing my alarm clock, and also, in particular, I was able to give the exams by sitting on my bed surrounded by pillows.
Though I was about to sleep in that comfort zone; thankfully I didn't.
Anyways, everything has its pros and cons and this thing has it too. We, the students didn't like this system as we are not used to it. It will take time to adjust to this new normal.
Now coming on our education system, I would like to recommend our education ministry - Please skip this academic year of 2020-21 at least for primary and pre-primary kids. As the school teachers, students, and parents all are just getting mad by teaching from home, studying at home, and make their children study forcefully all the time.
If this will continue students will surely leave their studies aside and teachers and parents will also give up soon. Teachers like to teach only if they get fruitful output because if we see towards the grubwork they are doing, that is really to be saluted. I SALUTE TO ALL THE TEACHERS.
No doubt, you are concerned about our studies but also there are people who are struggling hard for network issues and are not able to study properly. The school system is the best, where a student can have his/her overall personality development rather than studying at home. Students miss that playing on the school grounds, having lunch together from only one lunchbox, that scolding of teachers which can't be done online, that peeping out from the class to see whether the teacher is coming in class or not. This all is getting missed badly.
Students miss all the fun they had by being at school and college.
Make the students free for a year and allow them to do whatever they like to do at home.
Personally, I really miss my college, those laboratory practicals, that breaking up of glasswares (not intentionally), that smell of the lab, that scolding of faculties, those friendly HELLOs from faculties were just amazing, also the days when I use to sleep during lectures (well I knew what topic was going on in the class just my eyes didn't open), those days when friend's phone used to get snatched, etc. There are countless things which I really miss and I miss it more when I realize 2020-21 will be my last year of graduation and days are getting less day by day to spend time at college.
I wish, pray and hope that everything gets back to normal soon and all the students can again get back to their schools and colleges and learn with fun.
