Khayali Pulao in the Making

Image
Hello everyone! Lately, I have been stuck in this weird loop of thoughts. You know, that “late night, can’t sleep, overthinking about life” phase. And somewhere in between scrolling reels and sipping tea, I realize we all live a lot of our lives in Khayali Pulao. Yeah, imagination. Daydreams. “One day, I will do this” kind of thoughts. We’re constantly planning; "If Plan A doesn’t work, I’ll try Plan B. If not B, then C" .  We create backup plans for our backup plans. Our lives start feeling like a PowerPoint presentation of “what ifs” and “maybes.” We think we are being practical, but honestly, are we really living or just preparing to live? Sometimes I feel like life itself is a grand illusion, a dream within a dream. We are all running so fast to accomplish our dreams before we fall asleep, but maybe the real question is - what if we’re trying to WAKE UP from one? We chase success, love, validation, that perfect health, that dream job like they are the ultimate destination...

Emotions Unplugged: From Chaos to Control

Image
Hey there! Can I be honest with you for a moment? Picture this: You've spent hours preparing for an assignment, carefully crafting your responses, and your internet connection drops just as you're about to submit. Your heart starts racing, your palms get sweaty, and that dreaded feeling of panic sets in. Sound familiar? But you know what? That's exactly what I faced last month. That moment taught me something valuable about emotional control – The next time technology fails at a crucial moment (because let's be honest, it probably will), I'll be better prepared - not just technically, but emotionally too. I want to share that journey with you. Quick question for you: When was the last time you felt overwhelmed? Take a moment to think about it. What triggered those feelings? How did your body react? You see, emotions aren't just random feelings – they're like text messages from our inner selves. Sometimes they're crystal clear ("I'm happy! 😊...

Lessons from Nature, Humans, and Everything in Between

Image
Hello Readers!! Disclaimer: This blog is based on what I experienced last year, so please don't take these things in an ideal way! I am sharing it as this might help someone, someday in some way.  1. COMMUNICATE  It's easy to say but you need guts to even ask a simple question to the other person. Communicating makes things easier to deal with. Clarify, if you feel so! It surely avoids misunderstandings.  If you observe your surroundings, birds, animals and even plants have a very good sense of communicating with each other. So if we want to call ourselves "more evolved", we need to learn from them, how to communicate effectively :)  2. DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVE Everyone has their own perspective and thought process, so we should not judge people based on our already developed mindset and expectations. Let's respect the difference of 0.1% DNA between individuals! 3. DIFFERENT EXPERIENCES Person to person, the experience varies, and therefore, their thought process var...

Learn to Let Go!

Image
Life is precious and meant to be enjoyed. Don't hold onto resentment and bitterness from the past, it only harms yourself and prevents you from moving forward. In fact, life is too short to harbor resentment. We cannot afford to spend any more time or energy on negative feelings that only serve to drag us down because we never know what the future will hold. We must instead learn to forgive people who have hurt us and let go of our resentments. Although difficult, it's essential for our own mental and emotional health. When we forgive someone, it doesn't imply that we agree with what they did or that we ignore what they did. By doing so, we free ourselves from the weight of our pent-up hatred and fury. We give ourselves the gift of forgiveness, which enables us to move forward with a sense of freedom and serenity that has been restored. Letting go of grudges can strengthen relationships and build a stronger sense of communication. Resentment can cause bitterness and isolati...

Crowd-funded Weddings

Image
Weddings in India are a celebration of families coming together as well as the union of two people. Mehndi, sangeet, and the wedding ceremony itself are just a few of the customary festivities and rituals that take place over a few days. Yet, many families are finding it difficult to cover the price of these events due to the escalating cost of weddings. In this situation, the idea of "Crowd-funded Shaadi" is useful. Couples can now ask their extended family, friends, and even complete strangers to contribute to the cost of their wedding instead of just the immediate family. People can now crowdfund their weddings more easily due to websites like Wishberry, Ketto, and Milaap. The practice is rather easy to follow. Couples can establish a budget for their campaign and create it on the crowdfunding website. They can then invite people to donate by posting about the campaign on social media. The couple may occasionally provide rewards for various levels of giving, such as unique...

Transform like Clouds

Image
Clouds are fascinating objects that can be seen floating in the sky, changing their shapes and transforming endlessly. They are a reminder of the transient nature of life and how everything is in a state of constant flux. As I observe the clouds, I am reminded that transformation is a natural part of life and that we too can keep transforming just like the clouds. Transformation can take many forms, such as personal growth, career development, or even societal change. Just like the clouds, we can transform ourselves by adapting to new environments, learning new skills, and letting go of old habits that no longer serve us. We can also be open to new experiences and perspectives, which can broaden our horizons and lead us to new opportunities. The clouds remind us that transformation is not always linear or predictable. Sometimes, we may encounter unexpected challenges or setbacks that can alter our course or change our perspective. But just like the clouds, we can adapt to these changes...

Who Moved My Cheese? Written By - DR. SPENCER JOHNSON

Image
Today I would like to share about the book which I recently read - Who Moved My Cheese - Written by Dr Spencer Johnson. It's incredible! the way the book is written could not stop me to share my experience. So, here we go! It's the humorous and fun tale of four characters who live in a maze and search out cheese to eat and cheer them up. Cheese reflects what you want in life, such as a fine job, a romantic relationship, money or property, health, or spiritual peace of mind. The maze is where you go to find what you're searching for, whether it's your job, family, or friends. It is a simple tale that exposes deep truths about the transition in a simple way. The plot revolves around how each character reacts when their favourite cheese is snatched away due to an unforeseen "shift" in the situation. Their response to the situation teaches us important lessons in how to cope with change so that we can live a life with less anxiety and more success especially in th...

Welcoming 2021

Image
If I look back to 2020, all my plans for visiting places got ruined but there was one thing which kept me refreshed and active was this beach near my home, where I can visit anytime on any day even in the lockdown.  People have been criticising 2020 for obvious reasons, but what can a year do if the virus hits hard on everyone's life. This has been the result of the continuous misuse of resources and taking things for granted. Maybe this is nature's way of warning us and trying to heal itself by doing this kind of things. With a lot of hopes, welcoming 2021!!!  Even though my plans for 2020 were cancelled, I haven't stopped planning for visiting places. But this time with a different aspect. Seeing the rising pollution and global warming all around the world, I have decided to travel to all the districts of Gujarat, my home state with my crew BY CYCLING; which will help me contribute towards the clean environment at least from my side. Simultaneously I can enjoy nature...

Sky High

Image
In this time of the pandemic, I am lucky to have a beach near my home. When lockdown happened and; people weren't able to travel, I was visiting this beach anytime on any day; to get fresh air and spend time with this beautiful sea. I can experience that apricity in winters and can simultaneously enjoy the roar of this ocean and the chirping of birds.  When the ocean wave hit my legs, it is indeed a joyous and soothing moment, but at the same time, the sand below my feet slips out and taking the wave back and making me feel that I will be taken away by the same water which scares me a lot. While spending more and more time on a beach, I realized that we humans are nothing in front of this magnificent beauty, and we shouldn't dare to challenge it.  Nature makes us realize how vast it is and how small are the beings in front of it. If you are stuck somewhere in your life, try to spend time with Mother Earth, and you will get your answers from it, trust me!  ~Kalrav

Handwriting and Personality

Image
Hola Amigos!!! Let us know about graphology today! Y'all might have wondered someday - "Why Cursive?" The craft of letters and words identify your personality, known as Graphology or handwriting analysis, according to graphologists. Your handwriting is the photograph of your mind. Now, let me put the light on how different handwriting reflects your personality! 1. Size - Large letters characterize attention seekers,  big, outgoing personalities while small writing points to a person who prefers staying out of the spotlight, shy, and introverted types. Teeny-tiny scrawl might mean a person's retreating from society completely. If you have average-sized writing, it demonstrates a strong ability to focus and concentrate. 2. Slant - Which way do your words lean? Right indicates an outgoing, future-directed personality, like to meet and work with new people. Left means you're a more reserved observer. As for straight up and down, you're very rational and always t...

PERSPECTIVE

Image
So I am again here to let you people know about the different PERSPECTIVES of people. Let me make you understand by giving you an example. Few days ago, I posted a sentence on Instagram which was - What’s the English substitute of “ Kudrati Rachna Chhed-Chhaad Kendra” and I got different answers from various people. Let me take you to the journey of different answers. The answer from my perspective was “Beauty Parlour” (NO OFFENSE FOR BEAUTY PARLOURS; IT WAS JUST AN EXAMPLE I USED TO MAKE PEOPLE UNDERSTAND). How the answer was Beauty Parlour?? I am leaving it on you people to think about it! But on the other side I got the replies like Humans, Hair Salon, Black Hole, and what not. It is not that they were not right but their perspective was different (“Wo sahi nahi the, bas alag the” - This sentence reminds me of the movie YEH JAWAANI HAI DEEWANI ;|- )  So friends, I would like to suggest you that please stop judging people for whatever they do in t...
