Shatter, Harden or Shine

Hello hello!   I was reading about pottery and I would like to share something I realized, with all of you!  A lump of clay does not look like much. It is soft, shapeless, and easy to overlook. But once it goes into a kiln, something permanent happens. The fire does not simply heat it. It decides what the clay will become. That is why clay is such a great symbol of hardship. Difficulty does not only test us. It reveals what was already there, then leaves us changed. There are three ways clay comes out of the kiln. It Shatters If clay still holds trapped air or hidden moisture, the heat expands what is inside until the piece breaks apart. The fire is not the problem. The weakness was already there. The fire simply found it. People can be like that. Old wounds, fear, denial, grief that was never faced. These things stay hidden while life is calm. Then we face tough times, pressure builds, and the places we ignored begin to crack. People do not always fall apart because they...
