Teacher’s Day

Hello!

As we all know that due to this pandemic, we are not able to celebrate Teacher's Day together by being at school or college.

So here I am dedicating a poem written by me on the occasion of Teachers' Day expressing my feelings for the teachers all over the world!

      Happy Teachers' Day

Dear teacher,

You are the SA node of every classroom

Heart of every school and

Respiratory system for the world.

You may think you are merely teaching

But you are actually,

Illuminating the mind of students.

There’s a saying -

“Parents are your first teacher”.

But dear teacher,

You are the one who shapes and molds

The parents’ teachings;

And give it a magical, and mystical glow.

You are the legend

And actual hero

Who shapes this world.

You are the one

Who even after scolding students

Love the students

Equally, or even more.

And don’t worry,

Your students even know it more

They are being scolded

For their better future and

Better well being.

In this pandemic,

You are equally being missed by the students

Same as they are missing their friends and fun at school.

Your hard work for online classes

Is being valued

Somewhere by the students,

Ignoring the fact that

Children sleep during their classes.

And I assure you that

This hard work of yours

Will one day turn the immature minds

Into illuminated and intellectual minds,

Like the ripened fruits

Which tastes sweet.

God sent you to us

Because he wanted

That the world must be shaped

By the teacher like you.

Dear teacher,

Please don’t give up on your teachings

Otherwise, this world will

No more have ignited minds.

It will turn into a dried tree

Which has not watered

Since ages.

The word “thank you”

Is less for us

To pay you back,

For what we receive from you

Each and every day.

WE ALL MISS YOU!

A very Happy Teachers’ day!
