Tribute to Teachers

The words aren't enough 

To elucidate the teachings

Of THE GREAT Teachers.

Yes, I give the title

"The Great"!

As they truly deserve it

Or maybe more than that! 

We can't owe enough

To the teachers in our life

In the same way, we can't owe 

Enough to our parents too

Who is our first teacher,

Who gave their precious time 

To enlighten the path of our life.

Teachers, who sacrificed their whole life

Just to enlighten students' brain 

With an ocean of knowledge,

Who gave up their best 

And even more

To make sure 

Their student get 

The best opportunities

And the best results.

This is indeed 

A selfless good deed

I must say,

Believe it or not!

As they don't want 

Their student

To repeat the blunders

They did!

The satisfaction

A teacher gets 

Seeing the student 

Achieving the goals

Is inexplicable. 

Also, one must not

Dare to forget

Any of the teacher 

Throughout their life

Who made us learn

Alphabets, 

To the one 

Who taught us

About DNA! 

As we might not realise,

But every teacher 

Plays a huge role 

At one or the other point 

Of our life

We might not realize 

Now 

But we will realize

Later

What role does a teacher play

In our lives.

But I would like to say

Respect for teachers

To me

Increased even more 

After this pandemic.

The work load they have

Is terrific

The pressure they have to handle

To make sure 

Every student understand

Every concept by heart 

That too ONLINE 

Which is the work 

To be appreciated

And saluted! 

So, I would like to wish

Every teacher in this World

A VERY HAPPY TEACHERS' DAY 

Keep showering your blessings on us

As we, the students are nothing without your existence in this world.

Lucky enough to have teachers like you!

Keep enlightening our path 

And a big Thank You for everything!
