Silenzio, Bruno!

Silenzio Bruno!

Tell this to your brain whenever you are afraid to explore anything new.

"Silenzio" is an Italian word that means "Be quiet or Shut up"; Bruno is just the name given to my brain.

So, I watched this Pixar movie named "Luca"; it is a must-watch movie especially for those people who are afraid 'to come out of their comfort zone'.

A sea monster boy, Luca Paguro who was curious to explore the world outside the sea; but his parents didn't allow him to do so in the fear that land monsters i.e. humans will kill him.

And one day while herding goatfish he met another sea monster named Alberto and came to know that Alberto used to live above the surface i.e. on land, living a totally different life. And hence, Luca went with Alberto and got to know that outside the sea when in the dry state, the sea monsters turn into humans.

So, Luca took the courage to come out of his comfort zone and landed on the seashore realizing, it feels amazing to be on land as we all know the grass is always green on the other side.

While returning back into the sea at night, Luca was scolded by his parents and was given the warning that he will be sent to the deep sea with his uncle Ugo as he went on land without informing them and most of all he wasn't allowed to go there as that was the uncomfortable zone for sea monsters.

Still, Luca didn't listen to them and went on the land to stay with Alberto and explored the island 'Portorosso'. They met another friend Giulia who saved them from Ercole (the local bully and 5 time champion of the Portorosso Cup - a local children's triathlon).

And here the bond of friendship and the adventure in Luca's life begins by being out of his comfort zone.

Luca

The 3 friends - Luca, Alberta and Giulia decided to participate in the triathlon and challenged Ercole to win the Vespa so that they can travel the world. To win the Vespa was the dream for Luca and Alberta and they won the match as they had Giulia's support.

But, another dream for Luca was to attend school with his friend Giulia as he wanted to know more about Astronomy. So as to fulfil the dream of Luca, Alberto convinced Luca's parents and sold the Vespa they won to get the money for Luca's journey to Geneva.

Therefore, after knowing this story, we get to know that to achieve something in life we need to come out of our comfort zone and along with that we indeed need the support of our "TRUE FRIENDS" if parents don't support us.

P.S: The sea monster is the metaphor for feeling different anywhere at any time at any place. It is loosely based on old Italian regional myths and folklore.

Also, don't forget to stay happy in whatever situation you are :)

Along with that, watch "Luca" only on Disney+ Hotstar. I am sure you will enjoy watching it!
