Maths - A Haunted Place Or A Happy Place

Maths! A haunted place or a happy place?

For me, It has always been a haunted place.

As addition sign frightens me about first-aid,

Subtraction makes me visualize the ECG's straight line,

As if the heart has stopped,

and the person is dead!

As integration reminds of

increasing cynicism around us.

And differentiation makes me think of 

my stockpiled chocolates

getting lessened day by day.

Also, Multiply makes me wonder about

Coronavirus multiplying.

And division as always frightens me about

people getting divided due to 

Caste, Creed, and Color.

And Algebra is so lazy; 

That it never finds its X.

Roman numbers make me think of Rome

but I couldn't visit Rome ever

which makes me more curious as well as furious.

I went on an investigation;

If maths is actually

a haunted or a happy place.

Finally, I found 

It was surely 

a happy place for a lot of people and 

Haunted for people like me.

And then 

I realized one day

Maths is surely 

A Mystery

and people like me 

surely likes to explore 

and solve the mysteries.
