Doraemon
When I was a kid, I liked to watch Doraemon a lot but, my mumma didn't like that as Nobita was very irresponsible and misused Doraemon's gadgets every time. She used to make sure that I don't imbibe the habits of those characters such as Nobita's unreliability, Suniyo's greediness, and Jiyan's short-tempered attitude.
After so long, I binge-watched Doraemon today. The only difference was that mumma didn't stop me this time because she now knows that I won't adopt those characteristics.
Oh yes! I wish if I could have those gadgets of Doraemon. So much fun I could have. Especially the 'anywhere door' via which I can go anywhere in this beautiful world. I want a time machine too to go back in time and be the unborn creature whenever I want to.
Nowadays, kids have Doraemon as their parents as parents do their homework on behalf of their kid, buys them whatever they want, and also they get to use the smartphones too. But when I was a kid, my parents never did my homework, and I had to do it all by myself.
We all have our Doraemon at different phases of life. It can be in the form of parents, siblings, teachers, friends, or even strangers. For me, whoever helps us directly or indirectly is our Doraemon.
So who is your real-life Doraemon?

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful reflection on childhood and the timeless impact of Doraemon! It's true that we all have our own versions of "Doraemon" who help us navigate life's ups and downs. For me, it's a mix of family, friends, and sometimes even unexpected encounters that guide me like those gadgets did for Nobita. A time machine would definitely be fun, but the real magic is in the connections we make along the way. π
