Being Human is Tricky, Isn’t It?

We are contradictions wrapped in skin.

We crave adventure but seek comfort.

We chase happiness but linger in sadness.

We long for connection but fear being seen.

Our minds are tightrope walkers, balancing reason and chaos.

Our hearts, restless acrobats, leaping between love and loneliness.

We wear masks—smiling when we’re breaking, laughing when we’re lost.

And the world applauds, as if pretending is part of the act.

We tell ourselves, “It’s fine.”

But sometimes, it’s not.

We should be strong, but not too strong.

We should speak up, but not too loudly.

We should dream big, but not too wild.

We should be enough—

But what is enough?

They hand us a script at birth,

Scribbled with rules we never agreed to.

Be this. Do that. Don’t stray.

But what if we want to improvise?

We are homes to contradictions.

A heart that wants to wander, a mind that seeks stability.

A soul that craves meaning, a world that demands survival.

A soul that craves salvation, a universe that runs on Karma!

Dry leaves

We know time is fleeting, yet we waste it worrying.

We know pain is temporary, yet we hold onto it.

We know love is rare, yet we push it away out of fear.

We shrink ourselves to fit into spaces too small for our dreams.

We dim our light to make others comfortable.

We hold back our truths to avoid making waves.

But the ocean never apologizes for being vast.

The sun never asks if it’s shining too bright.

So why do we?

Maybe we are meant to be unfinished poems.

Maybe the uncertainty is where the magic lives.

Maybe the mess is where the meaning hides.

Being human is tricky.

But it is also extraordinary.

We love, we ache, we dream, we fall, we rise—

And in between all,

We live.
